ABOUT US

Standing in Covington, KY, at the convergence of the Ohio River and the Licking River, the Lord spoke these words to Pastors Daniel and Kim, “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” Jeremiah 6:16a. We would read the Bible and see how God moved the Church in the Book of Acts and wonder why we didn't see the same results and experience God in the same way. It seemed that the way that we had been doing church wasn't working. This launched us into a pursuit of what God was speaking to us.

After seeking the Lord for years, we believe that the ‘ancient paths’ that God was speaking to us about were to lead the church back to His original intent and design, which we believe is the church of Acts (Acts 2:42-47.) Following Jesus’ example, the early church devoted themselves to walking in His ways by breaking bread together, discipleship, & prayer. The Lord is calling us to begin by establishing a Book of Acts microchurch where believers are discipled in the commands of Christ, the "one another" teachings of Scripture, and other biblical truths. Our desire is to see them grow into emotional and spiritual maturity as we equip them to operate in the gifts the Lord has given them. As they mature, they will go out to make disciples, with some being called to establish their own microchurches and/or ministries.

VISION

We envision a vibrant community where believers GATHER to encounter God, developing a deep connection with Jesus and each other, GROW into mature disciples, and GO to impact the world with the Gospel and fulfill their kingdom mandate.

MISSION

Our mission is to build a Christ‑centered community following the Acts 2:42-47 model, devoted to the apostles’ teaching, authentic fellowship (shared lives), the breaking of bread (the power of the table), and prayer, raising up fully devoted followers of Christ. We commit ourselves to intentional discipleship — guiding believers toward spiritual and emotional maturity, equipping them to live out God’s Word, and empowering them to disciple others and fulfill their calling. As we walk together in faith, we seek to cultivate a culture of unity, transformation, and Christlike love that impacts our community, our city, and the world. We will accomplish this through two interconnected efforts: microchurches and discipleship houses, The Eagle’s Nest.
